Juliet Pannett 1911 – 2005 was a portrait artist that spent her life chroniding events of the second half of the 20th Century and had her own seat in the House of Commons.
22 of her portraits are in the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery. Juliet painted Winston Churchill’s last appearance in the House in 1964. She was a frequent painter of the Royal family. She painted the Queen at Buckingham Palace and was awarded an MBE in 1991.
